A member of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, Janek Pawlik is a Franklin, Tennessee-based projects and operations manager who has worked in leadership roles with Federal-Mogul Corporation and Siebel Systems, Inc. Outside of his professional endeavors, Janek Pawlik enjoys playing and watching ice hockey.

Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers, unquestionably the best player in the National Hockey League (NHL), added to his already impressive resume in a 6-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks on April 8, 2023. McDavid scored a pair of goals and added an assist in the win to bring his season point total to 150. He is the first NHL player in 27 years to achieve that milestone. Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Steve Yzerman, Phil Esposito, and Bernie Nicholls are the only other players to record 150 points in a single season.

A 26-year-old center from Richmond Hill, Ontario, McDavid has now exceeded 100 points in six of his first eight seasons in the NHL. He is a four-time Art Ross Trophy winner, having led the league in points in 2016-17, 2017-18, 2020-21, and 2021-22. He also won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league's MVP in 2016-17 and 2020-21.
